Estou em São Paulo, no Microsoft Tech-ed 2010 e acredito que o evento está sendo muito proveitoso para toda a comunidade de TI. Hoje houve uma palestra que me identifico muito... sobre cache do SQL Server e foi muito interessante com dicas de tuning.

Esse evento me faz ficar ainda mais interessado em participar de um evento internacional sobre performance de Banco de Dados, principalmente quando lembro de todos os webcasts que já assisti em http://www.microsoft.com/events/series/Technetsqlserver2005.aspx?tab=webcasts&id=42460.
Acredito que a performance de Banco de Dados deve ser analisada considerando uma obordagem da Aplicação para infra-estrutura (nessa ordem) e que a maioria dos beneficios de performance podem ser alcançados com um bom trabalho de tuning realizado pelo DBA em conjunto com a equipe de desenvolvimento.

Microsoft Tech-ed Brazil 2010 and Links to research about SQL Server for DBA's
I am in Sao Paulo on the Microsoft Tech-ed 2010 and I believe that this event is very beneficial for the entire IT community. Today, I watched a presentation which I could identify myself a lot about... cache on the SQL Server and it was very interesting with tips about database tuning.

This event makes me even more interested in participating in an international event about database performance, especially when I think about all webcasts I've watched in http://www.microsoft.com/events/series/Technetsqlserver2005.aspx? tab = id = 42460 & webcast.
I believe that the performance of the databases should be analyzed considering a direction from Application to Infrastructure (in that order) and that the majority of the benefits of performance can be achieved with a good job of tuning performed by a good DBA in conjunction with development team.
